Program aimed at reducing negative consequences of substance abuse

The ATOD (Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug) Prevention Program is a new resource for College of Eastern Utah students this year. The goal of ATOD prevention is to reduce harm, risk and negative consequences to student’s from drug and alcohol use. All CEU Students can benefit from the program.
Any student who feels they may need support with a drug and alcohol problem can contact the office at ext. 5127 or stop by and visit with the staff. Director Dede Howa, and Coordinator Mandee Krajnc, offer a safe non judgmental place for students to talk about their use, and provide feedback along with additional resources.
If a student is looking for information for a class project there are many resources in the ATOD office. You can find the ATOD prevention Program in the SAC room 118.
CEU’s ATOD Prevention Program is supporting the CEU men and women’s basketball teams by passing out foam fingers to the first 75 students, faculty and staff who return the following questions to the ATOD table at the men’s basketball game on Friday January 21 (don’t forget your student ID).
