Enjoy winter: get moving outside with Carbon Recreation

Carbon County Recreation has a number of programs opportunities and non-credit classes for college students, all at affordable prices. CCR prides itself on keeping things fun and cost down to the participant, said assistant director Frank Ori. If anyone is interested in any program or event, contact staff at the CCR at 636-3702.
CCR has a wide range of activities and something for almost anyone. “If there is something that you want to do, ask us to put the program together. We may be able to pull it off,” Ori said.

Cost, dates and times vary with each program and some programs maybe cancelled. Please pre-register for every program.
CCR also provides work opportunities for college students. If you want to work hard, have a lot of fun and have a basic knowledge of sports and outdoor activities, stop by CCR and ask for details. This semester CCR will hire positions such as volleyball officials and soccer officials. Summer employment opportunities are available as well.
